Catalyst and Havas Play Partnership

Havas Play and Catalyst4 Professional Sports Management Partner to Provide Leading Access to Sports Leagues, Properties, and Personalities

Today, Havas Play, Havas’ global network dedicated to connecting brands to consumer passions at the crossroads of culture, entertainment, and sports, announces a partnership with sports marketing agency, Catalyst 4 Professional Sports Management, to enable global and local sports sponsorships. Through this collaboration, Havas Play’s clients will be given access to an inventory of Catalyst’s exclusive sponsorship opportunities – spanning the Premier league and all major global football confederations, Formula 1, the Indian Premier and Pakistan Super cricket leagues, and more – allowing brands to meaningfully connect with fan communities across the world.

In 2022, the global sports sponsorship market was worth over $97 billion, and is expected to nearly double in size by 2030 (Statista). This growth represents the unparalleled opportunity sports sponsorships present to connect brands with millions of passionate fans, allowing meaningful connection with specific regions and demographics for brands to focus their marketing efforts.

“This partnership will give our global clients unprecedented access to some of the most significant global sports leagues, properties and personalities, providing an array of opportunities that align with brand values and reach audiences across borders,” shared Alex Brazendale, Head of Havas Play, Havas Media Hong Kong. “Not only will we be able to put our clients front and center in some of the most exciting sports, but, backed by the wealth of talent we have across our network, we will seamlessly offer a fully integrated sponsorship, activation and amplification experience with our teams of specialists working together under one roof.”

Since globally launching in March of 2023, the Havas Play brand has grown to service 19 countries across the globe, enabling leading brands such as Alpine, Samsung, Louis Vuitton, and Red Bull to meaningfully play in culture. Havas Play’s 300+ Play experts across the world create content and experiences that are intertwined with consumer passions, servicing brands across strategy consulting & ideation, content, experiential, social, partnerships & sponsorships, and measurement.

“We are extremely excited to announce this global relationship with Havas Play,” Neil Saxton, MD, Catalyst4 Professional Sports Management, shared. “Having established deep, long-term relationships across the global sports landscape, we look forward to providing excellent services and unique levels of access to our partners in the Havas Family.”

Catalyst Sports Management is proud to support the charity Healthier Heroes and their opening of Saxton House, a fantastic initiative which is dedicated to providing support, stability and opportunity for veterans. The centre was opened by Morecambe native, former World Heavyweight Boxing Champion, Tyson Fury. Founded by Neil Saxton , Catalyst Sports Management has always believed in the importance of creating positive change within communities, and the opening of Saxton House represents a significant step forward in helping former service personnel access the support they deserve. Neil commented, "Veterans have given so much in service to others, and it's vital that they have access to the resources, opportunities and support networks that enable them to thrive. We're delighted to see Saxton House open its doors and look forward to seeing the positive impact it will have on the lives of veterans and their families. I'd also like to give special mention to Andrew Powell, the founder of Healthier Heroes, the work he does is incredible." Saxton House is named after Neil's brother, Stephen Saxton who sadly passed away in January 2025, he was a 25 year veteran of the Queens Lancashire Regiment. Catalyst Sports Management congratulates everyone involved in bringing the project to fruition and wishes Saxton House every success for the future.
